Facebook My Business

The 411

Today if I have any budget for advertising, I am going to spend it on Facebook Ads. Why? For 3 simple reasons:

1. That’s where my customers check in almost daily.

2. I can target my ads to reach specific new audiences.

3. Facebook ads can be entertaining and compelling if I take the time to make them so. Google Ads, on the other hand, are still seen as pretty darn annoying to most folks. Not saying they don’t work, but if I can only choose one ad strategy, it’s Facebook all the way.

Ultimately, you want to be where your customers are. If that’s LinkedIn, then you should advertise there.

But, with Facebook STILL growing and reaching more people, and with their improved advertising lately that lets us have videos, call to action buttons, display in a user’s main newsfeed… I’m still standing by Facebook for my business as #1.
