The Client: Asset Management Solutions for JD Edwards (Oracle Gold Partner)
There’s nothing better than a creative challenge to capture my attention. Asset Management Solutions creates essential software solutions to Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications.
The company approached Greta Rose Agency to create a new brand identity that would adequately set them apart from the competition.
There would be an enormous amount of data to organize, but ultimately we would design a website that (a) explained the solutions in clear language; (b) qualified leads easily; and (c) provided existing clients with a client portal to efficiently navigate and find support easily.
The Challenge: Bring the Refine to Refinery
I gained a tremendous amount of respect during this project for this industry. The integrity, precision and respect for systems is at the foundation of so many of our utilities and services we take for granted. I wanted to honor this community by showing the beauty and art of manufacturing and automation.
Warm, rich, happy tones of earth, metal, energy and fire played graphically together. We hunted for the perfect photography. I wanted to convey positive, happy, working organizations. Adding fun, interactive and animated graphics, hiding large bodies of text in convenient toggles, and scattering rave testimonials made the visitor feel confident they had found the solution to their problems here.
Solution: Art & Beauty in All Things
My initial intimidation gave way to inspired obsession. I found metal tones that were deep and complex in soothing blues and grays.
The logo would be the letters A + M + S, and would also give a subtle nod to earth’s vast and generous resources of materials that keep us thriving.
Art in all things… and, to my delight, the client FRIGGIN’ LOVED IT!
Bonus: Video Promos
Additionally, Greta Rose Agency would produce a series of YouTube videos to provide compelling, fun visuals to complement the product descriptions. Who says you can’t bring some humor, character, and even some snazzy sexiness to software application tutorials?
